The hotel was lovely old and pleasant, loved city view from our guest room. The staff were accommodating and consistently courteous, the breakfast we had was enjoyable. The location was marvellous and beautiful, close to Montreux Museum. What's more, it was near the shopping center.

We didn't like the bed, it was too soft.

The staff at J5 Hotels Helvetie & La Brasserie are accommodating and very courteous. The hotel is in a great location close to Casino Barriere Montreux.- It is conveniently situated near various attractions such as Freddy's statue, the lake, shops, and restaurants.

The service was friendly as we had expected. A wide range of food for breakfast, which was savoury to satisfy everyone. The location for Montreux was unbeatable, short walk to beautiful lake.

Cute hotel that has particularly good location back to old time feel as everything are old. Wonderful breakfast with fruit and muffins, for instance - well worth the money.

This hotel offers great value for money. With reasonable prices, you can enjoy a comfortable stay in spacious rooms that even come with two balconies. The staff is attentive and provides excellent service. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the lake and close to a bus stop. The attention to detail is evident, from the splendid bed to the incredible bathroom. Additionally, the breakfast selection is impressive, with a variety of options from salty to sweet, including local cheeses and pastries.

Bathroom didn't have a sink, that was located by the entrance to the hotel room. The whole hotel was run down and could use a thorough renovation.
